Cellist & Composer

Luke Severn performs regularly in both Australia and Europe and is the recipient of The Concerto Award and Vice Chancellor's Ensemble Leadership Award from Monash University. As a composer, his portfolio consists of choral and chamber works - and has written for pianist Elyane Laussade and the Australian Children’s Choir. Luke completed a Bachelor of Music at the Monash University under the tutelage of cellist Josephine Vains. He is currently continuing postgraduate studies with Svetlana Bogosavljevic. Luke will be making his Canadian debut at the Hudson Music Series and the Guelph Chamber Music Series in Montreal and Toronto, ahead of his American debut in 2018.
